This innovative Cricut FabricGrip Mat 12" x 12" is a unique solution for fabric projects. It's intended for use with the Cricut Maker machine (but works with the Explore), which puts the pressure on the fabric to hold it into place (as opposed to other Cricut machines, which rely on the mat to hold the material in place). The Cricut Maker cuts with much more force than standard Cricut machines, which is why you need a special mat.
