This cartridge is great for people who love the outdoors, whether male or female. As you can see, the first project I highlight here as I go over my Cricut Outdoor Man cartridge ideas is a hunting card for a woman. This cartridge is perfect for rugged types. Enjoy!<\/p>\n

Hunting Buddies Card<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"huntingThis card I made with my sister-in-law in mind. I wouldn’t recommend a pink card for a male hunter. She loves to hunt everything and she loves pink.\u00a0 Her hunting bow is even pink (I don’t think her gun is but if she could have one, I’m sure she would). It’s easy to see why this is one of the most popular Cricut cartridges<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This card is 5 x 7 inches and the “girl” is cut out from the Outdoor Man cartridge\u00a0at 5 inches.<\/p>\n

I just wanted a silhouette, so I cut out the detailed image in black, I also cut it out in pink, so that I could have the pink boots, and then cut out the hat and gunstock in the pink as well.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0cardstock<\/strong><\/a> dog was cut out at 2 inches and Hunting Buddies at 1.5 inches. Just one layer of that one as well.<\/p>\n

I love how it turned out, I think sister-in-law will as well.<\/p>\n

Dad & Me Layout<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"layoutI really love this Outdoor Man cartridge for layouts, so if you’re a scrapbooker<\/strong><\/a> and you or your family enjoy the outdoors you will love this cartridge.<\/p>\n

You could also make this just as easily for a girl with this layout by adding some pink or her favorite color, because if you are like me, then you loved the outdoors. I fished with my Dad all the time.<\/p>\n

This 12 x 12 layout was super easy, it has a spot for a 5 x 7 photo. The Dad and me<\/em> is cut at 2 inches. The fish was cut out at 4 inches, the pole at 5, and the bobber at 2 inches (there are 3 different bobbers, but I only used the 1 of them).<\/p>\n

This was a really fun layout for me. I hope you enjoy.<\/p>\n

What a Catch
\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"whatThe Outdoor Man cartridge has so many fun phrases sayings on it. Picking one to make is the hardest part of the project.<\/p>\n

The overall size of the card is 4 x 6 inches and the oval is cut out at 4 inches from the Father’s Day Cartridge<\/strong>. You can use any cartridge that you have that has an oval on it (there are a lot of them).<\/p>\n

“What a catch” is cut out at 2.75 inches. Add a little ribbon and you’re done.<\/p>\n

That’s it! Easy and straightforward.<\/p>\n

Happy Campers Card<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"happyAs you can see, I’m having a pretty good time with this fun cartridge. If you love the outdoors (or maybe the men in your life do) then your Cricut cartridge selection is not complete without it.<\/p>\n

The overall size of this card is 4 x 6 inches.<\/p>\n

The trees are cut out at 5 inches and the tent at 2. I used pop dots on the tent so it stands out more from the card. Layers are so easy to create with Cricut machines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Happy Campers was cut out at 1.25 inches. Make sure you have your machine on slow when cutting out the words this small. Some of the letters have very skinny parts and going too fast will inevitably create tears.<\/p>\n

Boys Will Be Boys Layout<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Such an awesome layout would not be possible without the Cricut Outdoor Man cartridge. I had this paper that I really loved and thought it worked so well for an outdoor layout, but no matter what I did it seemed too “busy”. So I tore it in half and paired it with a solid red sheet, which I feel like adequately simplified the design while adding some dimension to the page.\"boys Now for the details…the four squares going down each of the sides are 2.5 inches for the black squares and 2.25 inches for the green squares.
