This cartridge was designed by\u00a0<strong>Nancy Kubo<\/strong>, who also created the <strong>original Create a Critter<\/strong> and <strong>Create a Critter 2<\/strong> cartridges and the <strong>Create a Friend cartridge<\/strong>. I absolutely love her designs and this cartridge is no different!<\/p>\n<p>For these layouts, I started it as a two-page layout, but when I was finished I realized it would be good as a stand-alone layout. Remember that if you don&#8217;t have this cartridge, you can try to substitute any number of <strong>Halloween Cricut cartridges<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Making a Halloween Layout<\/h2>\n<p><strong>This first page:<\/strong> the <em>tree<\/em> and <em>moon<\/em> were cut out at 11.25&#8243; and the <em>arrow sign<\/em> at 4.5&#8243;. For the <em>Happy Halloween,<\/em> I just used a font from my computer and had the <strong>Cricut Explore system<\/strong>\u00a0write it on using the <strong>silver metallic pen<\/strong>. The <em>ghost<\/em> border is cut out at 1.38&#8243; making it the perfect length for a 5&#8243; x 7&#8243; photo frame.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2450 size-medium alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/craftdirect-blog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/page-1-halloween-300x292.jpg\" alt=\"creepy critters cartridge layout project\" width=\"300\" height=\"292\" srcset=\"https:\/\/craftdirect-blog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/page-1-halloween-300x292.jpg 300w, https:\/\/craftdirect-blog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/page-1-halloween.jpg 713w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For this\u00a0second page the <em>bat<\/em> border was cut out at 2.4&#8243; so the border length would be 12&#8243;. <em>Oct 31st bat<\/em> image was cut out at 4.5&#8243; and has 4 photo spots &#8211; three\u00a03&#8243; x 3&#8243; photos and one 4&#8243; x 6&#8243;. In all, this layout was pretty easy. The paper stack I used is called <strong>Haunted Hollow by American Crafts<\/strong>.
