\nThis post is all about the various projects I’ve completed using the Cricut The First Few Years cartridge. Please offer feedback and user submissions are also welcome. If you are looking for a new machine, check out the Explore Air 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Cute as a Button<\/h2>\n

When I first perused through the booklet for this cartridge, this was one of the pages that I just fell in love with. So many possibilities with this fun page, and cartridge as well.<\/p>\n

So for this 12″ x 12″ layout, the button board is cut out at 9.75″.<\/p>\n

This size will fit a bit larger than a 5″ x 7″ it’s about 5.5″ x 8″ photo spot so you may want to make it a little smaller. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I cut out the frame twice so I could have the pink and purple buttons. Then the “Cute as a button” is cut out at 2″.<\/p>\n

Super easy layout and I made it with Cricut paper<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

“Adorable” Layout<\/h2>\n

\"theI think the title of this one speaks for itself. I think it’s so adorable. When I first started looking to do this layout I was going to make it for a girl, but I think with the owls and the colors it’s pretty ambiguous with regard to gender.<\/p>\n

So for the details of this layout, using The First Few Years cartridge I cut the frame out at 7″ so that I could have about a 4 x 6 photo placed in it.<\/p>\n

The bow is 1.5″ and the phrase adorable is cut out at 2″.<\/p>\n

So not a lot of time spent on this simple layout and I’m sure it would be easy and quick for you to make following this guide.<\/p>\n

This is great for fall themes but with small tweaks, it could be any number of themes.<\/p>\n

Maybe you think I need more embellishments<\/strong><\/a>? Maybe you think less is more? Get creative and put your own personal spin and let me know what you come up with.<\/p>\n

Smarty Pants Card<\/h2>\n

I had a friend graduating from college so I wanted to make her a fun card to commemorate the occasion. loved the phrase I found on this cartridge, “Smarty Pants”. I came up with this intricate yet easy design.<\/p>\n

\"congratsThe “Smarty Pants” is cut out at 1.5″ and the “Congrats” is cut out at 0.5″.<\/p>\n

I didn’t weld the letters together on this one just placed them close by each other, and I love how easily it goes together for the cursive writing without welding, making is super easy!<\/p>\n

Other First Few Years Projects<\/h2>\n

Just two more projects to cover:<\/p>\n

\"welcomeIt’s a lot of fun to bring home a new bundle of joy, and this layout is perfect for the babies first photo, and super easy to make so you can spend more time snuggling your new baby. This layout was created using The First Few Years Cartridge. The frame is cut out at 7.5″ So that it can hold a 4 x 6 photo. The house is 3.5″ and everything else is cut out at 1″.\"layoutFor this fun scrapbook<\/strong><\/a> layout once again we used the First Few Years cartridge. The phrase \u201cCherish the Little Things\u201d, the starburst, frame and dinosaur are all cut out at 2\u201d. The three photo frames are for 3\u201d x 3\u201d photos. Super easy and quick layout using this fun new cartridge<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
