Here at CraftDirect.com, we are always looking for new and fun ways to make art projects easier. We love to help our customers get their creative juices flowing. In order to continue this tradition, we are now bringing in popular new Club Kits. In case you haven't heard of them, these fancy paper crafting sets made from materials by popular brands like Simple Stories. They are designed to give you everything you need to make a specific project, including instructions. For a quick example of Simple Stories Club Kit projects, check out this Christmas album I made:

The underlying idea behind club kits is that they streamline the process, but also allow you the flexibility to personalize each project as you see fit (choose your own finishing touches by incorporating whatever scrapbooking supplies you have on hand). Not only do club kits make craft time easier to manage, but you might also learn a new technique or two.

Country Christmas Sn@p! Album Club Kit Project

The first one being the Country Christmas Sn@p! Album Club Kit. While this kit will take some time to put together it's so worth it! The material is all in the kit, aside from a few basic things such as adhesive, paper trimmer, scissors, and of course, any photos you want to add. Everything else is included in the kit. Here we have displayed only a couple of the pages that I made using the kit.

Say Cheese Halloween Mini Folder Album Club Kit Project

After I finished, I was thinking about immediately doing another one. The fact that you can make them different every time is a big part of the appeal. I think it took me about 3 hours total to complete (maybe a little less). For this kit, all you need is your basic supplies and some fun ribbon.

If you don't want to hand-cut the tags, you can use your favorite die-cutting machine, the Cricut Maker or Cameo 3. For exclusive deals, try a Cricut Maker bundle option, which offers you additional supplies and great savings overall. Or you can try the We R Memory Keepers Tag Punch Board. I did cut mine by hand, and though they aren't perfect, I don't really think anyone is going to notice.

A Few Helpful Tips for this Project:

If you want to distress the edges, ink them before you start gluing your folder together. Second, use a really good double-sided adhesive when gluing the pockets and folders together. I used a tape runner and by the time I finished, some of the pages were already coming apart. I had to go back and re-glue them to keep them together. This kit comes with a couple of extra sheets of paper and some extra stickers, so if you want to change a layout or add extra embellishments, you could easily change things up and make it your own.
