Did you know that CraftDirect is an international company? Chi Lozano is one of our employees in the Philippines, and she happens to be a savvy paper crafter. She used her electronic die-cutting machine to make a Harry Potter-themed birthday party for her 1-year old son. When she showed us her work, we loved it so much we asked her to take our readers on this adventure. Enjoy:
Welcome to Hogwarts
This Harry Potter inspired party-themed celebration is nothing short of magical. And there’s no better way to send your guests off to the wizarding world than by escorting them onto the platform 9 ¾ platform to the Hogwarts Express!
As the guests entered the Great Hall (aka our living room), banners from Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw houses swayed as the cold wind filled up the room. Continue reading “Harry Potter-Themed Party Decor” »

It’s October and now I feel like I can officially start creating for Halloween, and I love to make spooky and cute crafts. This year I think I got a little carried away with the scrapbook layouts! There are just too many fun Halloween paper collections to choose from this year. I couldn’t decide which one I wanted to get, so I think I got them all, including:
This first scrapbook layout was not created using any of those product lines, I actually went with the Simple Stories Happy Halloween Collection Kit. This is a perfect solution if you just want to make a couple pages (or a bunch of cards). It came with a sheet of SN@P Cards that are easy to add as an embellishment to your scrapbook pages.
This next layout I made is a design you can download for free (check out the October downloads post here). The paper collection I used is called Hocus Pocus, designed by Echo Park. I absolutely love this layout that Aaron designed. I had to make it, and it was so easy with the collection kit!
