  2. Valentine Paper Crafts 2019 - Squirrel Valentine Card & Raccoon Layout

by Richelle Naegle Today, I made a couple quick Valentine's Day crafts using the Silhouette CAMEO 3. You can download the images you see here from the Silhouette Studio. If you want to save some money in the process, buy one of our download cards here at a discounted rate. This first image from my card project is called Woodland Love Squirrel Valentines. She is cut out at 4" tall, making her perfect for a 4" x 6" card. The Pebbles Loves Me collection would work perfectly for this card (and the scrapbook page that I made, as well). Raccoon Valentine Layout Naturally, I followed the card up with a Valentine-themed scrapbook layout. The featured photo frame is 5" x 7". I normally only take one picture for Valentine's Day each year, but if you want two photos, swap out my frame for a couple 4" x 6" frames. This adorable raccoon, once again, came from the Silhouette Studio. It's called Woodland Love Raccoon Valentines. I made him about 5" tall, and the word "Love" is from Love Dog w/ Balloon, but I left the dog out. I love the font from that design. Continue reading
  3. New Happy Jig by We R Memory Keepers

by Richelle Naegle Have you seen the NEW Happy Jig collection from We R Memory Keepers in action, yet? If not, you need to get on that, ASAP. When I was at the CHA show this year, the Happy Jig was quite possibly my favorite new tool. The way it works is you use the wire-bending tool kit  to bend wire with the use of a peg board to make into fun and interesting designs. The kit comes with various sized pegs, a base that has a bunch of little holes in it, wire crimps, a booklet with designs, and three lengths of wire to get you started. I highly recommend picking up a few more colors of wire or try the multi-packs, like Colored and Neutral. These designs are addictive to make, so you're going to want plenty of wire! Continue reading

  5. Valentine's 2018 Paper Craft Projects

by Richelle Naegle Valentine's, or as I like to call it, the big heart day, is almost here. One of my new year's resolutions is to stop being a papercraft slacker! This year, I am going to get my holiday crafts done early, starting with my Valentine's paper craft projects. If you need some help meeting your goals, whether they are related to crafts or not, you should download our free SVG files. Valentine's Greeting Cards For this first card, I used my Silhouette CAMEO 3. The overall size of the card is 4.25" x 5.5", and I found the cute puppy at the Silhouette Store. The design is called Love Dog w/ Balloon. I cut the image out at about 3.5" tall, from the bottom of LOVE to the top of the heart balloon. Continue reading

  8. Valentine's Projects: Print and T-Shirt Design Download

By Richelle Naegle Man, I am on really on track for my Valentine's crafts this year. I usually wait until the last minute. This week I wanted to make something new to decorate my house, so I came up with this fun, romantic print (pictured to the right). For the lettering and the border, I used Cricut foil. This material works...
  9. Cricut Valentine's Day Craft Projects

by Richelle Naegle I know it's only January, but before you know it, Valentine's Day will be here. I'm getting started a little early and the paper crafter inside of me is OK with that. Today, I made a scrapbook layout and a greeting card. Note: If you are looking for more Valentine's themed inspiration, check out our Sizzix Village Surf Shack project from a week ago, or scroll through our older Valentine's posts. For the layout, I made a 12 x 12 design using designer cardstock. Normally, I don't like to do just one picture alone for an entire scrapbook page, but in this case, I made an exception. We are going to capture our love with a group photo on this layout. I used the Sweetheart Cricut Cartridge to make the balloon heart bouquet and this was a great opportunity to get rid of some leftover paper scraps. I didn't want paper strings, so I used ribbon instead. I think it gives the page more depth, personally. The our love and the hearts shapes along the bottom come from the Love Photolights Rub Ons set. This layout is super easy and quick to make. Continue reading
  10. Sizzix Village Surf Shack Project Ideas

by Richelle Naegle After doing the Halloween Village Manor project, I was in love with this collection. I wanted to make a Christmas-themed house, but time got away from me and other holiday crafts and obligations got in the way! With Christmas just a few days away, I figured I would get a jump start on Valentine's and make my...
