  1. 2019 Winter Craft Product Release

Some of the world's famous craft designers have or will be releasing new amazing product collections for upcoming holidays and spring themes, as well as new solutions for any kind of project. Richelle just returned from CHA 2019, and she's so excited for the entire year, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. In our 2019 winter craft product release, we are excited to offer you: Foil Quill This will maybe be the most popular product of the year! We R Memory Keepers Foil Quill allows you to transform your Cricut machine or your CAMEO into a foiling machine. The collection includes heat-activated pens, foil sheets, foil rolls, and designs from some of your favorite designers. It works with any artwork (SVG and PNG), but you will love these USB design drives that include 200 icons, phrases, and more. The best way to get started is to buy the All-In-One Kit. Designers include Heidi Swapp, Amy Tangerine, Kelly Creates, and more. Speaking of foil and Heidi Swapp, there was a MINC release, too. In addition to some cool new accessories and projects, they released several tools that should make your projects better. One last thing before we get away from We R Memory Keepers: they have also released Big Happy Jig supplies, which revisits last year's popular release of the Happy Jig. As you might've guessed, the new Happy Jig is bigger and allows you to do larger wire-bending projects. Continue reading
  2. Halloween Craft Projects 2018: Layouts, Cards, Treat Bags, etc.

by Richelle Naegle It's October and now I feel like I can officially start creating for Halloween, and I love to make spooky and cute crafts. This year I think I got a little carried away with the scrapbook layouts! There are just too many fun Halloween paper collections to choose from this year. I couldn't decide which one I wanted to get, so I think I got them all, including: Simple Vintage Halloween Pumpkin Party Spooky Boo Trick or Treat and more! This first scrapbook layout was not created using any of those product lines, I actually went with the Simple Stories Happy Halloween Collection Kit. This is a perfect solution if you just want to make a couple pages (or a bunch of cards). It came with a sheet of SN@P Cards that are easy to add as an embellishment to your scrapbook pages. This next layout I made is a design you can download for free (check out the October downloads post here). The paper collection I used is called Hocus Pocus, designed by Echo Park. I absolutely love this layout that Aaron designed. I had to make it, and it was so easy with the collection kit! 3. 2 New Heidi Swapp Home Decor Projects - 2017

by Richelle Naegle Today, I am playing with some of the new Heidi Swapp scrapbooking products and I have to say that I'm having a blast. As you'd expect, her designs are both easy to use and they are pleasing to the eye once you complete your projects. Heidi Swapp Letterboard The first projects I tackled were from the Heidi Swapp Letterboard collection. Oh boy, is this addicting! It's so easy to update that you could change the board every day and keep up with it. You could even do it a couple times a day, easily. I couldn't decide on what theme to make for this blog post, so I made several of them! Heidi Swapp Letterboard is a great way to leave an inspiring message for your family, or to leave notes, jokes, and whatever else your creative mind is inspired to make! There is no paper, ink. machines, etc. required to complete these projects. They are clean and easy! Continue reading
  4. Heidi Swapp Lightbox Project Ideas

by Richelle Naegle Have you seen the fun, new Heidi Swapp Lightbox? It offers an easy way to create a marquee that matches the theme of the occasion at hand, like holidays, birthdays, or just for fun! There are background images, letters (in a variety of colors) so you can write what ever you want, phases and even fun icons. The white Lightbox comes with a cord, so you don't have run it off batteries. You do have the option to use batteries if you prefer, though. I made two different designs to demonstrate how simple and yet delightful this really is. I was nervous about not having enough of the right pink letter Lightbox inserts to spell out Happy Halloween. I only used one package and it did the trick. I also used the nifty Holiday-themed Lightbox Icons. By my count, there are at least two icons for each major holiday! Continue reading

by Richelle Naegle One of my favorite products to use is the MINC foil machine. I think this machine helps to add a lot of variety and creativity to my craft projects. I don't always remember to get it out and use it, so I've made an extra effort lately to use it to its fullest. Heidi Swapp has come...
  6. How to Foil Your Vinyl Material (Infographic)

by Richelle Naegle One day while searching Pinterest, I found a video that someone had made on the Heidi Swapp page where she used Silhouette permanent vinyl with her laminator machine to foil the vinyl, The purpose was so that she could adhere the design to a coffee mug. You can check out that video here. We've made an infographic to explain the process so you know how to foil your vinyl material. I also offer my own handiwork below the infographic, so you can see how it works in action. Without further ado: Continue reading
  7. Watercolor Crafts & Art by erin the great

If you would like to contact the artist, you can reach her at hello@art-by-erin.com One of the most beautiful mediums in the visual arts is watercolor painting. It's aptly named watercolor because of how the paint is made up of pigments that are suspended in a water-based solution. Typically the paint is applied to paper surfaces, but it works with...
  8. Heidi Swapp Star Lanterns: How to and Review

by Richelle Naegle This is one of the easiest home decor solutions. Check out the Heidi Swapp Star Lanterns. These fun, starry decorations are not only inexpensive, but they are so easy to assemble. They can be used with or without the lights. I should note, the lights come in blue, green, red, orange, and white. They are not included with the star lantern, so you can choose your own preferred color if you decide to light it up.
