It’s time to get out your red, white, and blue paper! If you don’t have any, never you fear, there are so many great patriotic paper collections to buy. Many of them go well together. As far as new releases this year, we have the All American Collection Kit which is a solution from Simple Stories that is ideal for making 4th of July scrapbook layouts. Also, be sure to check out the Sweet Freedom 12″ x 12″ pack from the clever designers over at Pink Paislee. Both of these are great options for a variety of projects. With July just around the corner, it’s time for some more free SVG design downloads by Aaron Meyers. If you have an Explore Air 2 or a CAMEO 3 (or older models with the ability to operate using .SVG files), you can use these image files to cut the designs out of paper and other materials. For July, Aaron made (3) emojis, (1) patriotic t-shirt project, (1) 4th of July card, and (1) fancy Thomas Jefferson quote design.
To download the SVG files, scroll to the bottom of the post and you will find the links.

In fact, when you buy something on CraftDirect, our thank you page includes a free download file. In July, it will be Emjoi Series 2. Continue reading “July 2017 – Free Monthly Design Downloads” »

Have you had a chance to check out the new Stitch Happy sewing system? It’s the latest innovation from We R Memory Keepers. This fun new invention is a multi media machine, which means that it’s made to sew a variety of materials such as paper, chipboard, mixed media, and more.

The problem with cardstock is that it dulls regular needles, which is why you don’t want to use a regular sewing machine with paper. Stitch Happy uses needles intended for this very purpose. It even offers a large needle for heavier threads like baker’s twine.
Another great thing about Stitch Happy is that you can use it with tough materials, like leather. Continue reading “Introducing Stitch Happy by We R Memory Keepers” »

Hello! Christi Here from Scrapping For Tranquility. Do you believe it is already well into June already? The kids are out of school and the warmer weather is here. Most families are planning on taking their vacations and the 4th of July is right around the corner.
I don’t know about you, but it has me thinking about our annual 4th of July parade and family BBQ. And don’t forget about the fireworks that night. Our parade is so big in our small town in Indiana that they actually declare us the Capital of Indiana for the day. When I got to thinking of this upcoming holiday, the crafter in me started thinking of of all the decorations I could make. When I saw this download, I knew I had to make it right away.
